Our Mission

Emerge Center for Pediatric Family Development is a trauma‑informed, family‑centered behavioral health practice serving children, adolescents, and caregivers across Washington and Idaho. We exist to meet a critical need in our region: accessible, developmentally attuned care for young people navigating emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges — including those impacted by trauma, anxiety, disruptive behaviors, and problematic sexual behavior.

Our approach is grounded in evidence‑based treatment, cultural responsiveness, and a deep respect for the lived experiences of the families we serve. We believe healing happens in the context of relationships, and we partner closely with caregivers, schools, medical providers, and community systems to ensure every child has a coordinated circle of support.

Emerge is also committed to strengthening the pediatric behavioral‑health workforce. Through high‑quality supervision, structured training, and reflective practice, we equip emerging clinicians with the skills and confidence needed to provide exceptional care. By investing in the next generation of therapists, we help build a sustainable, community‑rooted system of support for children and families.

At our core, we are guided by compassion, integrity, and the belief that every child deserves the chance to grow, heal, and thrive.
